We visited a floating village and a school. We began by taking a bus to the river and then getting on a boat. Our first stop in the floating village was a store that sold rice. There were nine of us who chipped in for a large bag of rice to give to the school for lunches.

It's a school for Vietnamese children (not all legal but not hassled by the government either) who study Khmer language, Vietnamese, and English. For many of them when the five - six years are up, that will be the end of their schooling. G Adventures sponsors many projects in the countries they work in so we went to many restaurants who were providing training for the tourist industry, English classes, etc. That's a great part of this company.

Yep, even here. |
Most of the children learn to swim before they learn to walk. It was quite an experience and we ate it up. I don't think the kids were too impressed but we all loved it!
