The Nambibian Desert: the oldest desert in the world

We are really worn out tonight. After arriving back from the desert and joining the G Adventure welcome meeting, Dennis turned to me and said, “What did you get us into?” Actually, it was said a bit stronger than that. I’m not sure what I got us into, we’ll soon find out as we leave for Botswana tomorrow morning. While there we will have little internet so will get in touch whenever we can.

Today Ricky picked us up to take us to where the Namibia Desert meets the Atlantic. I am nosing off so I am just going to give a peak at what the day was like. It was filled with color—Namibian skies, sand water, salt mining at the pink lagoon, flamingos, just an incredible day!

Dennis is snoring away and I hope to be doing the same soon. There will be more when we are able. Xoxo
