Our last full day in Lisbon. We were up early and off to...you guessed it Copenhagen Coffee Lab! We had our coffee and our yogurt and got some takeout for Pat & Jim. We all met up just in time to meet Jose, our driver and guide for our Azeitão and Alentejo wine and Food Tour. Before we left for the countryside we stopped to pick up another couple, Steve and Jennifer. To Jim’s delight they both held doctorates in chemistry from Purdue! Very fun couple, love wine with good senses of humor. Three wineries, all good tastings, lunch at the last one, very tasty along with the wine pairings. Joanna did a wonderful job of explaining the food, the philosophy of the winemaker, the archeology of the winery. We hope the photos will explain more than our words because at this point, we must pack, sleep to be up early to take the train to Lagos.
